Little Shop MFG 14" Front Big Brake Kit | 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC K1500 4WD 6-Lug OBS

A 14-inch front big brake upgrade for 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC K1500 4WD 6-lug OBS trucks and SUVs. Machined aluminum hats and radial-mount brackets bolt directly to the factory spindle, and you can choose MFG calipers or substitute Wilwood calipers.

Fitment

• Fits 1988-1998 K1500 4WD 6-lug pickups and the matching 4WD Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon, as stated by the manufacturer (who lists 1988-2000 full-size 4WD trucks and SUVs). Coverage for 1999-2000 is unconfirmed, so ask before ordering for those years.
• Not for 2WD C1500 trucks (see our C1500 kits instead). The manufacturer does not state whether this kit fits the 6-lug 2WD 2500 LD, so ask before ordering for one.
• Designed for stock spindles with the 1.25" rotor. 88-91 single-cab trucks with the factory 1.0" front rotor can be converted by using the hubs from a 1992 K1500 (HD suspension), for example Timken 515001, which is available at most parts stores. Measure your rotor before ordering.
• Hat offset: no change from stock.
• Caliper type per option: the manufacturer describes the kit with its own machined MFG calipers or substitute Wilwood calipers. Ask DC Fab to confirm the caliper style for your choice before ordering.

Wheel Size

• Minimum wheel size: 18" (fits inside most 18" wheels). Test fit with low-offset or thin-spoke wheels.

Lead Times

• Caliper choices: MFG calipers in black or red, or a substitute Wilwood caliper in black or red (the substitute option is built to order; allow roughly 2-4 weeks). A custom color is available on MFG calipers only, on complete front-and-rear orders; allow 4-5 weeks, send your OEM paint code in the order notes, and note that tri-coat and Kandy finishes are not offered.
